I don't know - taftak66 -
No problem with this except that moisture builds up under the glass and makes it hard to see the temp. Otherwise, ok product.

Broke within 1 week - J. Halls - Plano, TX
Not sure if we just got a bad one from the lot but after 2 weeks in the pool it started reading 115 degrees, would fade in and out and never worked correctly again. I did not contact the vendor so cannot comment on customer services.

The La Crosse Digital Thermometer (916OU) is by far the best digital thermometer on the market. The display is easy to read, provides all the info you need: time, temp indoors and outdoors. You can hang the indoor component on a wall or stand it on a counter. Very simple to set Once you place the batteries in both components, it immediately begins displaying the temps. I purchased another brand and it just did not display/work properly. This would make a great holiday gift for anyone! The price is great and it sure beats trying to look for an accurate temperature using a regular thermometer. Highly recommend!

La Crosse wireless thermometer - tambo -
Upon arrival of the thermometer, I assembled and inserted the batteries without even looking at the directions. That might have been a big mistake, since the display of the outdoor temperature disappeared in less than a day!I was very disappointed when it happened and called the La Crosse customer service. The rep took me through the somewhat complicated process of re-setting the unit and everything has been working fine since. My advice: Read and follow the assembly/set-up instructions exactly!

Easy to set up, I haven't had any problems with this item. It is a good basic indoor / outdoor unit, wireless which is exactly what I was looking for.
