• Hot Item. Galileo developed the principle, and we're entranced by thermometers based on his design. This one is 7" tall, with a flared 2" dia base.
• In the sealed glass tube, (4) onion-shaped glass ampules float freely in liquid. The ampules are filled with liquids in (4) colors, and are tagged to indicate temperatures between 68°F and 80°F
• The temperature matches the lowest free-floating ampule. Two ampules floating free? The temperature is midway between them! That Galileo was so clever! He would have loved shopping at A.S & S.!
